Being located just outside of the city, we suppose we should be accustomed by now to the contagious energy of NYC. Be that as it may, we were not even remotely prepared for the trifecta of electrifying new models Hyundai revealed this week at the New York International Auto Show.
It's being called the new Hyundai Ioniq, and while it's hardly the first alternatively powered vehicle to arrive on the automotive scene, it is the first full line offering of alternative-fuel vehicles under one nameplate. Allow the following clip from Hyundai to clarify:
Both the hybrid and the EV variants are slated to go on sale later this year; those of you interested in the Plug-In version will have to wait about a full calendar year longer until it arrives in the spring of 2017.
In the meantime, stay tuned here on our Nemet Hyundai blog for any and all emerging details as we ourselves become privy of them.
